COAST TO LAKE WALK – The Entrance

Now that temperatures are on a downward slope and the days are still long it is the perfect time to try the Coast to Lake Walk if you haven’t already had the pleasure. This pearl of a walk includes easy use paths and boardwalks, grassy knolls with parks and play equipment and rock platforms with rock pools ripe for discovery.
Coast-to-Lake-walk-mapAlong the way you will discover the diversity of our coast line, you’ll see swans on the lakes and pelicans at the channel and if you keep our eyes peeled you can see whales and dolphins out to sea.
If you have all day to spend on the walk stop for a short detour up the Long Jetty, a play in the park at Toowoon Bay, a skate at Picnic Point, a swim at The Entrance Ocean Baths or simply take a sit on a bench and enjoy the exhaustive views at Edith Ring Rest.
Dogs are allowed on the majority of the walk as long as they are on a lead so why not take your fur family along to join in the fun.
The walk covers 7.6 kilometers, can be covered in two and half hours at a moderate pace and is divided into four sections (see map).
