A visit to this open air museum is a MUST for all visitors to Kangaroo Valley.
Kangaroo Valley Pioneer Museum Park visitors will enjoy the historic buildings which all originated in the Kangaroo Valley area. One, in 1973 dismantled slab by slab on its original site and re-erected as a beautiful homestead in the museum grounds by historical society members.
Along with this is a saddlery, dairy, forge, timber cutters hut, bush school and many more, all set in a magnificent park with BBQ and toilet facilities.
All buildings have wheelchair access. Children will love to cross the 72m swinging bridge which leads to two marked bushwalks on more than seven hectares of natural reserve.
You can see the Museum in an hour, or after spending a whole day in the Park there will still be more history to discover. Exhibits are continually being improved and added to.
