Photo of Meroogal

Feel like disappearing back to the country life of yesteryear where life was simpler and a homemade sponge cake sat on the kitchen table? Visit charming Meroogal.

Home to four generations of women from the same family, this Gothic-revival timber house has hundreds of stories to tell from the multitude of belongings and objects left by each generation. A grand house in its day, by today’s standards it is in fact quite modest.

Its women were frugal while its ‘everyday’ life tells an epic story.

Don’t miss the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Meroogal this school holidays!
