Berry - Shoalhaven Heads

Berry

Set amongst rolling green hills with the backdrop of the stunning Cambewarra range, its striking landscape is unparalleled. Berry, the first truly rural town south of Sydney is a country experience like no other.

Dairying and logging on the coastal plain were the initial drawcards to the district but now the town is famous for its cafes, homewares and boutique shopping. The surrounding area is dotted with many boutique wineries of note and the restaurants and local gourmet food outlets should not be missed. If passive pastimes are not your thing – then Berry won’t disappoint you either.

Berry has a wonderful assortment of quaint B & B ‘s that you can stay in when enjoying the area.

The Apex Park in Berry is a great place to relax and enjoy a picnic after a pleasant day of shopping!

There is always something happening in Berry from the country markets on the 1st Sunday of the month, the Berry Show in February, the Musicale festival held throughout May and June or the beautiful Garden Festival in October.

Shoalhaven Heads

Shoalhaven Heads is located at the southern end of famous Seven Mile Beach and its surrounding national park. The surf here is some of the best on the South Coast and the local surf life saving club provides beach patrols in the main holiday season.
