Discover Wyong Shire
Summer may have come to an end and with it the long hot days spent at the beach, which now seem like distant memories as we all head back to work and school. That is no excuse to stay in, instead it is the perfect reason to get out and about and discover what else is happening in Wyong Shire after all it is a great place to holiday and live all year round.
While we may have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world (so say we) we also have much, much more at our finger tips with a food and cultural renaissance happening right in front of us.
Walk down the main strip of any town centre from Bateau Bay to Norah Head and back to Yarramalong and find vibrant cafes serving cold drip coffees and delicate patisserie or locally owned shops selling quirky clothing, handcrafted furniture and unique homewares.
You can find an art, craft or farmers market on every weekend to wander through and if you want to keep wandering bush walks and boardwalks are plentiful.
Do yourself a favour and pick one weekend this month, take a drive to a suburb other than your own and go try something or somewhere new. If you need some help getting started follow @discoverwyongshire on Instagram where we document all the great reasons to call Wyong Shire home.
Tag @discoverwyongshire or include #iheartwyongshire in your own Instagram pictures while you are out and about so we can see what you are getting up to and share your discoveries.
